Rabbit's problem was augmented by being served too cold, it improved by letting it warm up a bit.<BR/><BR/>Bison was badly burnt, which is a shame. The duck "taco" (I know you'd rather I not call it that) was very nice, but I think everything else totally missed the mark. I was expecting something amazing from all the recommendations I heard, but I got a purportedly rabbit-based, cold, flavorless dog/cat-food, and the soup... well, was very similar in (lack of) flavor and yuck-factor. I think the wait vs. the eating time was just plain wrong, indicating that the dishes were being treated like fast food. I don't mind waiting, but if I'm going to for 2 hours, I'd hope the food isnt rushed on me in 5 minutes. I loved the staff, but it just felt a little wrong to have the dishes come out like they were all frozen foods. I'd like to give it another shot (I gave a big tip too! given the charity aspect) and I dont mind waiting for 2 hours again and then another 1 hour at the table, but only if the dishes were better executed and tasty. We definitely enjoyed certain elements (the duck confit and mushroom dumplings), and... found some shall we say "interesting" (the Bison stew, the rabbit, and the acron soup). This isn't a criticism as much as a "was the food SUPPOSED to taste that way?" I don't know about others, but I am not a Native American food expert by any means... so can someone tell me if the dishes were done right, but just didn't suit me, or if just turned out wrong. The bison stew was burnt, badly, the rabbit was mashed flavorless nothingness, and I really wanted to taste acorns and black walnuts but they were no where to be found... great concepts... poor execution. The duck confit/"pickled" strawberry thing was pretty damn tasty. Fat is flavor. I would love to give it another shot. Luke warm is never good.Brendan V.
